The last meeting of the Project “Training on Psychosocial Needs of Refugees” was held on 05-09 May, 2010 in Palermo with the participation of organizations such as HRRA, CEIPES, IMIR and RESPECT from Turkey, Italy, Germany and Spain. An online training module was established with the contribution of these organizations working in human rights, adult education and integration of refugees www.psycho-socialneedsofrefugees.eu.
An international seminar was also carried out in Palermo University, Faculty of Letters. During the meeting organizations were introduced their activities then, academicians and activists were make presentations dealing with psychosocial needs and integration process of refugees. The speakers were as follows; Prof. Marco Antonio Pirrone(Sociologist), Doc. Roberto Mazzarella (Studies and Documentation Centre on Migration of Palermo), Doc. Barbara Ferraro (IAL) and Arif Hussein (Life&Life). |
