In the past three months, Human Rights Research Associaton (İHAD) organized four training seminars on Role of Muslim Religious Personnel in Preventing the Violence Against Women in Ankara, İstanbul, Bursa and Trabzon. A lot of Muslim Religious Personnel were joined to seminars.The participants included men and women Muslim religious personnel Next training programme will be in Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa and Mersin.
The training seminars are comprised of 4 topics:
- topic 1: Introduction to Human Rights
- topic 2: Violence in Family and Honor Murders in Turkey
- topic 3: Women rights in international standards
- topic 4: Protective Mechanisms in Preventing the Violence Against Women
